The experience here was fantastic. I felt bad because I had them flipping so many rugs but I guess that's what you have to do to find the right one. Outside of the selections, just the overall experience was fantastic. I also had the pleasure of being there when another customer was having a really large Oriental rug restored that her father had they cleaned it and repaired it immaculately. She was in tears because she was so grateful for what they did. This is a place I would highly recommend stopping in and having a look. And they really educated me on rugs 2 and that was definitely a plus. So now I know what to look for going forward

The Oriental Designer Rug company did an excellent job on my two rugs. one was an 10 X 14 original Chinese rug. I moved with this rug twice and it acquire a few stains and need deep cleaning and they were able to get the majority of the stains out and restore the rug to it's wonderful hue.

Oriental Designer Rugs did a wonderful job of repairing and restoring our Serapi rug. It is 45 years old and was well worn. They cleaned it, repaired the fringe, and bound the edges. They also touched-up the color in several areas. It looks amazing - almost like new! We also purchased a rug pad, which gives it a bit of a cushion. It was well worth the 60 mile trip to bring it to Atlanta! We will be back with another rug soon. They were very nice people to deal with - and have a beautiful show room. Thank you!

We live in Orlando and had an excellent experience buying our oriental wool stair runner rug from OrientalDesignerrug in Atlanta. I dropped in their store while visiting my daughter and never shopped any other stores for comparison etc. Veneet took the time to walked me thru the various style, quality and price points, to help me decide what was best for my need. Everything was delivered on time as promised. We hired a local installer that took his time to ensure all the cuts was in the right places to keep a nice matching design flow.

Oriental Designer Rugs did an excellent job in cleaning, repairing and restoring our Persian rugs. Our rugs are over 60 years old and Oriental Designer Rugs brought them back to life. They responded promptly to our email inquiry as to what services they would offer and the cost. We had seven rugs all requiring some level of repair. They all got new haircuts (fringe trimmed and bound) and their colors livened. We highly recommend Oriental Designer Rugs if you have any antique valuable Persian rugs to be restored.

I worked with Vineet to locate a rug for my living room project. Not only did he send me several options, but he had the rig shipped to us locally so we could see it. He also had several other similarly styled rugs for my review. Very easy to work with and large selection.

I had a terrific experience with Shahn and Oriental Designer Rugs! The very first thing I did was go online several times to familiarize myself with the inventory. After checking out the inventory numerous times I visited the store and was able to visually and physically see and touch the rugs. Shahn and the employees at ODR were terrific and very helpful. Shahn and the staff at ODR were very knowledgeable, willing shared their expertise and gladly answered my questions. Furthermore, Shahn made terrific suggestions about purchasing a rug and shipping it to my home since I wasn't able to take it with me. I had five rugs cleaned by Oriental Designer Rugs. Several rugs needed the fringes to be repaired and one rug had many dog pee stains and needed the backing replaced. The repairs and the cleaning were wonderful. The staff is professional and extremely efficient . The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Purchased two rugs in March 2022 from Oriental Designer Rugs, ("ODR") located in Atlanta, Georgia. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. ODR allowed me to take both rugs home on a trial basis to see how the rugs looked with my existing décor. I also purchased a rug pad through ODR and they cut the rug pad sized to fit my new rug. I am very pleased with the quality, service and selection offered by Oriental Designer Rugs and would highly recommend them.

EXCELLENT WORK! Our heavy large heirloom Oriental rug hadn’t been cleaned since being passed down to us 25 years ago. It ended up rolled in the garage due to it’s look but Oriental Designer Rugs brought it back to life! In a fairly quick turn around time (2-3 wks) the cleaned rug’s colors looks vibrant, the tassels are gleaming, it looks like a brand new rug. The living room now has had a facelift. Only criticism would be we had to call and ask if it was ready. Would absolutely recommend to others.

I decided to only have the Persian rug restored, While browsing throughout their collection, I spotted a small area rug "which called my name", so gorgeous. It was a real find for me. This store offers many rug choices along with cleaning and restoration services. My Persian rug arrived yesterday, and I was amazed at its transformation. It looked brand new! So glad I stumbled into this gem of a store. The services, rug selections, and sales folks are among the best I have encountered. I plan to shop here again whenever I need a restoration or another rug.

I drove from Colorado, where we now live, to my hometown of Atlanta to visit family. Having unsuccessfully (and frustratingly) shopped around the Denver area for rugs, one of my goals while in ATL was to find several rugs for our Colorado home that we had completely remodeled / refurbished. My experience at ODR was DELIGHTFUL. Shahn greeting me upon entering their clean and well stocked showroom. I explained what I was looking for. Shahn listened to me, asked a few questions and then, along with the very helpful and friendly staff, preceded to show me options. Shahn is extremely knowledgeable about rugs of all makes, styles, and types…and (thank heavens!) very familiar with their inventory. I left with two beautiful rugs with which I am over the moon. After having looked at HUNDREDS of rugs both in Denver and several other places in Atlanta — I can honestly say ODR has the BEST inventory for both handmade and machine made rugs. But what made ODR stand out was the helpfulness and service of their knowledgeable and friendly staff. If I’d had the room in my car, I likely would have purchased a few more pieces and FOUND a place to put them in our home. Make ODR your first stop if you are looking for an area rug for your home. You won’t regret it.

My oriental rug was in awful condition due to my nephew's cat. The cat dug a hole and peed on it. I was hoping that the rug was salvageable. Oriental Designer Rugs did an awesome job cleaning and repairing my rug. I am so thrilled with the job they did!!! I highly recommend Oriental Designer Rugs.... I purchased my rug in 1987, it is 100% wool handmade. It looks almost as good as the day I bought it!! We used Oriental Designer Rugs to deep clean a hand-knotted wool rug that we purchased second hand. They also repaired one of the sides that was ripped and fraying. The service was excellent. I had an idea of what I wanted, and Shahn was very patient in showing me all my choices. He offered to take down the rugs and let me see them on the floor. Once I made my selection, he was able to deliver it on the same day. I could have bought the rug for a little less over the internet, however given the great service I would definitely shop here again. It is so much better to buy in person and get exactly what you want.

Three weeks ago I brought into Oriental Designer Rugs (ODR) my 8 by 5 oriental rug for cleaning and to repair the ends of the rug, which had become frayed. They deeply cleaned the rug and did an amazing job to repair the two ends of the rug. When I picked up the rug I was so impressed with the work Oriental Designers did. I have received numerous compliments on my rug and how it looks in my home. I would recommend ODR without reservation for your oriental rug cleaning and repairs.

We had several of our Oriental rugs cleaned along with our large family room rug cleaned and one corner repaired. We've had these rugs about 25 years now. The rugs came back looking great and the repair was excellent. We are very happy and will use them again.
